THE ESSENCE OF TUSCANY
CYCLING PROGRAM
ROUTE #1

STELVIO & UMBRAIL LOOP

100 km / 3300 m

One of the most epic rides in Europe, climbing Umbrail to cross into Switzerland and then tackling Stelvio from it's iconic side with the famous 48 hairpins starting from Prat.
ROUTE #2

STELVIO from Bormio

40 km / 1600 m

Easier way and perhaps a great way to warm up and get prepped for the altitude rides - climbing Stelvio from the Italian side. Breathtaking views of the Alps and of the nearby Gavia makes it a truly nice engine-starter .
ROUTE #3

GAVIA & MORTIROLO LOOP

Short option: 115 km / 3200 m

Gavia Pass is considered by many cyclists as one of the most picturesque climb out there. Any 'top 10' lists are always arguable and in the end not making much sense - but one is for sure - Gavia is a hell of a beauty.

But hold on - before you get the Gavia's Southern - more beautiful - side, you need to get over the monster of the Mortirolo. No presentation needed for this one - considered the toughest climb on Giro's menu & pilgrimage site for Italian cycling icon Marco Pantani.
ROUTE #4

GAVIA from Bormio side

Short option: 55 km / 1500 m

Warm up ride for the Gavia & Mortirolo combo. Also the perfect way to better see the Northern side of Gavia.
ROUTE #5
