  • SIGHTSEEING: charming hilltop towns like Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux are the essence of Provence; artistic Arles and magnificent Avignon make a perfect after bike excursion
  • GASTRONOMY: Provence is considered the garden of France for the quality of food that is produced here; you will enjoy local food by our chef and in numerous fancy restaurants of the area
ACCOMMODATION
We'll live in a nice Provencal style villa where you can expect great experience during your stay. Situated in the heart of Luberon area it is exceptionally positioned for access to key cycling routes, sightseeing and restaurants.
MEALS
During your entire stay, our own chef will serve full-board meals for you.


Provence is called a national 'garden' in France - for the high quality of food grown here. You will taste it!

AIRPORT PICK-UP & WELCOME DINNER

RIDE: GORDES

Short option: 50 km / 300 m
Full option: 70 km / 800 m

EVENING: 10 mins ride to Roussillon to have a walk through the surreal ochre park and then going for a drink in the old town - which itself is a marvel.

RIDE: GORGE DE LA NESQUE

Short option: 60 km / 700 m
Full option: 100 km / 1200 m

EVENING: short drive to have a walk in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorge - nice town known for Venice-like canals and islands, formed by the river Sorge

Option #2: drive to Arles

RIDE: LUBERON

Short option: 50 km / 500 m
Full option: 80 km / 600 m

EVENING: drive to Avignon, majestic city which feels like an open air museum. Optional visit to the Pope's Palace and dinner in the restaurant with typical provencal cuisine

Short option: 50 km / 1200 m
Full option: 100 km / 2200 m

EVENING: dinner home to celebrate the Ventoux ride!

CYCLING ROUTES
ROUTE #1

GORDES

Short option: 50 km / 300 m
Full option: 70 km / 500 m

Cycle through flat little road along the Luberon valley observing postcard views of hilltop towns of Roussillon, Bonnieux, Goult until you see Gordes. A little climb to the town and stop to enjoy best in class desserts over a coffee. Ride back home is easy from there.


ROUTE #2

GORGE DE LA NESQUE

Short option: 50 km / 700 m
Full option: 100 km / 1200 m

This is going to be one of the best rides of your life! Long, 20km climb is super gentle and steady at just 4% grade, so be sure to be taken away by the dramatic views of this gorge. Coffee at the terrace in Sault with a view on Mont Ventoux.
ROUTE #3

LUBERON

Short option: 50 km / 500 m
Full option: 80 km / 600 m

This is route makes a loop around the national park of Luberon. We'll ride mostly flat little roads between lush fields and hills.

Highlights of the trip is visiting or riding through the most iconic towns of Luberon - Bonnieux, Menerbe, Lacoste and others.
ROUTE #5

MONT VENTOUX

Short option: 50 km / 1200 m
Full option: 100 km / 2200 m

Mont Ventoux is probably the most revered climb in all of cycling. Located in Provence, it towers over the lavender filled plains below it, giving it the nickname of the Giant of Provence.

As challenging as Ventoux is, it rewards you some of the most dramatic views one can get on the bike. The moon-like summit with the iconic antenna on the top will make your best cycling memories.


ROUTE #6

VENTOUX CIRCULAR

Short option: 60 km / 1000 m
Full option: 110 km / 1900 m

Cycling the full loop around Mont Ventoux takes you to the journey where the views will change dramatically -from the dry and harsh south side to the lush and green northern side, where there are barely any people or cars.

And all the day the Giant will loom in the sky above you, often hiding in the clouds. Towns on the way are also super atmospheric and scenic.


ROUTE #7

FOUNTAINE-DE-VAUCLUSE

Short option: 50 km / 200 m
Full option: 80 km / 500 m


This is the best coffee ride you can have. Cruising through the flats of Luberon you arrive to a famous place where the river Vaucluse takes it beginning.

The river emerges seemingly out of nowhere, from the rock!

Enjoy a coffee is terrace on the river with a watermill still spinning slowly.
